Scope Verified Review Policy

Verified Project Reviews are intended to capture first-hand project experience while protecting companies and reviewers from manipulation, conflicts and unsupported claims.

Policy 01

Reviews must describe a real project relationship and identify the reviewer’s relationship to the work.

Policy 02

Employees, owners, affiliates and immediate family may not review their own company.

Policy 03

Direct competitors may not submit reviews intended to manipulate ranking or reputation.

Policy 04

Incentivized reviews must disclose the incentive and may be excluded from scoring.

Policy 05

Reviews must focus on first-hand project experience and avoid confidential, defamatory or unverifiable allegations.

Policy 06

Scope Verified may request project evidence before publishing a review.

Policy 07

Companies may respond to or dispute a published review, but cannot pay to remove a legitimate review.

Policy 08

Reviews can be removed for fraud, impersonation, conflicts, threats, privacy violations, duplicate submissions or material policy violations.

Policy 09

Review moderation decisions and disputes should retain an internal audit trail.

Policy 10

Verified Project Reviews remain separate from Verified Scope; a positive review does not verify a capability by itself.

Moderation, responses and disputes

Every submitted review is pending until moderated. Scope Verified may request evidence, limit publication, reject or remove a review. Companies may respond to a published review or dispute its eligibility. A dispute does not automatically remove a review, and payment cannot influence moderation.
