▶What is Scope Verified?
Scope Verified is an Ontario-first construction and building-technology directory that helps buyers find companies by company type, discipline, scope, delivery role, market, location and construction division, then distinguish listed information from company-confirmed and evidence-backed scope information.
▶What does Verified Scope mean?
Verified Scope means a specific company scope or capability has supporting evidence reviewed by Scope Verified. Verification applies to that scope, not automatically to every service the company offers.
▶What is the difference between Listed, Company Confirmed and Verified Scope?
Listed information is used for directory discovery. Company Confirmed information has been confirmed by the company. Verified Scope is a specific scope supported by evidence reviewed by Scope Verified.
▶How do I find a construction or building-technology company?
Use Find Companies or Browse by Scope to search for the specific work you need, then refine by company type, discipline, delivery role, market, location and CSI MasterFormat division.
▶What is a delivery role?
A delivery role describes how a company participates in a scope. Scope Verified uses roles such as Designs, Consults, Manufactures, Supplies, Installs, Integrates, Commissions and Maintains so different types of providers are not treated as equivalent.
▶Which construction divisions can I search?
Scope Verified supports the applicable CSI MasterFormat division set used by the directory, including procurement, general requirements, facility construction, finishes, equipment, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, integrated automation, electrical, communications, electronic safety and security, site and infrastructure, process equipment and electrical power generation divisions.
▶What are disciplines, scopes and capabilities?
A discipline is a professional or delivery area such as Electrical Engineering or Telecommunications / ICT Engineering. A scope is the specific work, system, service or product being searched or delivered, such as structured cabling, access control or data centre cooling. Capability describes a company’s demonstrated ability to perform that work.
▶Can I compare and shortlist companies?
Yes. Scope Verified supports a decision workflow from search to shortlist, comparison, investigation and contact. Comparison is designed to distinguish verified facts from company-confirmed and listed information.
▶What are Verified Project Reviews?
Verified Project Reviews are project-context reviews designed around a real project relationship. They are moderated for authenticity, conflicts, incentives and abuse, and remain separate from Verified Scope.
▶What is Scope Verified Intelligence?
Scope Verified Intelligence connects directory research with project signals, project teams, watchlists and opportunity intelligence so users can understand both who performs a scope and where relevant work may be happening.
▶How current is company information?
Scope Verified uses freshness states and review dates where available. Users should still confirm project-specific availability, capacity, pricing and commercial fit directly with a company.
▶Can a company pay to become Verified Scope or improve its organic Trust Score?
No. Commercial products may support company workspace features or clearly labelled promotion, but payment does not change evidence requirements for Verified Scope or organic trust evaluation.

The Scope Verified glossary defines construction, engineering, ICT, building-technology, verification and project-intelligence terms used across the directory so buyers and companies can interpret profiles and search filters consistently.
For companies managing a profile
▶How do I add a new scope or capability?
Open Scopes & Capabilities in Company Workspace. Select the company type or taxonomy group, discipline, scope, delivery role, market and construction division, then submit the change for review.
▶How do I move a capability toward Verified Scope?
Add specific supporting evidence to the scope or capability. Scope Verified reviews the evidence independently before changing it to Verified Scope.
▶What should I add to improve discovery?
Keep disciplines, scopes, delivery roles, capabilities, CSI divisions, markets, service locations, company information and project experience precise and current. These fields help relevant directory searches map to your profile.
▶What do Company Analytics show?
Company Analytics provide a directional 30-day view of tracked discovery and engagement, including search appearances, profile views, saves, contact intent and selected outbound actions.
▶Can reviews change my Verified Scope status?
No. Verified Project Reviews and Verified Scope are separate trust signals. A review does not verify a scope by itself.
▶What happens when I update my company profile?
Customer-facing profile, scope and evidence changes can be routed through Scope Verified review before publication so public information remains structured and trustworthy.
